Vicky Sturgess - Fertility Nurse Co-ordinator
After qualifying as a Registered Nurse at Bournemouth University, I worked in the Gynaecology Department, both on the ward and within a clinic setting. I joined the team at Salisbury Fertility Centre in January 2006. I enjoy working here, especially getting to know our patients and providing a high standard of patient care. My role involves planning treatment and providing support and advice to our patients. I am a qualified fertility sonographer.
Alex Vail - Fertility Nurse Co-ordinator
I have extensive experience in nursing and midwifery and I am also a qualified sonographer. Initially, I worked in Salisbury Fertility Centre as a sonographer, which sparked my interest in fertility treatments and I was pleased to join the nursing team two years later.My role here is to co-ordinate treatments, perform scans as required and support our patients from their initial consultation, through their treatments and hopefully through their early weeks of pregnancy.
Amy Hankin - Fertility Nurse Co-ordinator
I have worked at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust since 2001, after gaining a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery at Bournemouth University.I have extensive experience and knowledge in all areas of Midwifery and Neonatal healthcare and have gained specialist skills through further training in intraoperative care, neonatal intensive care and reproductive and sexual healthcare.I joined Salisbury Fertility Centre in 2015 to specialise in an area of healthcare that I am very interested and passionate about. My experience allows me to offer a high standard of patient centred care.
Debra Adams - Fertility Nurse Co-ordinator
I qualified as an Adult Registered General Nurse from Bournemouth University in 2001 and have gained a wide range of experience from working in both the NHS and privately throughout the UK.A lot of my experience has been within gynaecology, but I have also worked in all aspects of general nursing, from the acute right through to oncology and palliative care where the emotional wellbeing of the whole family is paramount.I joined Salisbury Fertility Centre in July 2015 and feel privileged to be working within a team who offer such compassionate, individual and holistic care to all patients.
Rachael Keen - Nursing Assistant
I joined the team in December 2014 as I wished to begin a career in nursing. Previous to this I built up experience working in a nursing home environment. My role at Salisbury Fertility Centre involves various nursing and administration tasks. I undertake funding eligibility checks for NHS patients, prepare patients' notes ahead of clinic appointments and answer patients' queries.I work closely with all members of the team and pride myself on being welcoming and friendly to patients.
